Opened in October 2014, the MasterCard Labs site in New York houses product and technology teams that build prototypes and collaborate with partners, as well as demo areas showing off new ways to pay. The 60,000 square foot space, designed by the architectural firm Gensler, is located in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. We dropped by as part of our 2016 New York City Field Study.
